Terms and Conditions

Please take time to carefully read the Ceol na Mara terms and condition below.

Booking

  • The minimum stay is 3 nights ( we cannot offer lower rates than stated for shorter stays)

Deposits

  • If your booking is made more than eight weeks in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee is needed to secure the booking.
  • The balance must be paid four weeks prior to your stay.
  • If booking within the 4 weeks of your stay you are required to pay the amount in full at time of booking.
  • Unfortunately deposits are non-refundable should you have to cancel.

Payment

  • Payment can be made by cheque, Paypal, or bank transfer.

Cancellation

  • In the event of cancellation within in 1 month of your stay , balance payments are non-refundable, unless we are able to re-let the property.
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable
  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking at short notice should circumstances arise beyond our control, in which case we will give a full refund or offer alternative dates.

Arrival & Departure

  • Your “check-in” time is 4pm . Should the property be available before 4pm on your day of arrival you may be able to check-in earlier.
  • Your “check-out” time is 10am. On your departure we request that you strip any used beds of the linen and leave it on the floor.
  • Used bath towels should be left on the bathroom floor.
  • Please ensure the fridge & freezer is emptied of any food.
  • All rubbish should be put in the appropriate outside bins and bottle disposed of at the bottle bank.

Pets

  • Strictly no pets allowed.

Care of the Property

  • The contact name on the booking form is responsible for the costs of the following –
    • Any items damaged or missing, any specialist cleaning ( including carpet cleaning ) which is required during or following your stay.
    • It is your responsibility to advise us immediately of any damage or loss, so that we are able to replace/repair the item for your use and for that of the next guest.

We understand that accidents happen but reserve the right to ask you to pay for any damage to furniture and fittings, for which you will be invoiced.

  • We request that outdoor shoes and clothing are removed in the vestibule. Please bring indoor footwear.
  • House rules/Instructions are provided in your welcome pack, which you are required to read. Please leave our property in a clean and tidy condition.

Maximum Number of Guests

  • No more than 4 people may stay at Ceol na Mara.

Fire Risk

  • Smoking indoors is strictly forbidden.
  • When smoking outside, please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly, firstly ensuring they are completely extinguished.
  • Any evidence of smoking inside the property will incur a £100 charge for cleaning.

Telephone

  • There is a good mobile network coverage at the property

BedLinen & Towels

  • All bed linen, towels , tea towels are included in the cost of your stay.
  • If you require any beds to be changed during your stay or extra towels there is a charge.

Complaints and Difficulties

  • You are required to inform us of any problems immediately. Once notified we will endeavor to resolve the issue straight away.
  • However if the problem is serious and we cannot resolve it within 24 hours we will offer you a refund.
    Right of Entry
  • We reserve the right to enter the property to inspect or carry out necessary repairs/maintenance during your stay. However we will try not to disrupt your stay wherever possible.
    Right of Evict
  • Any anti-social behaviour, smoking restrictions not being observed, potential fire risk, general misuse of the property or if there is a breach of these terms and conditions will result in immediate eviction from our property without any refund.
